                        this helps. If you use tomatillo salsa from the store, I would think that
                        2-1/2 cups would work fine.

                                You can make it hot or mild, depending on how many jalapenos you add. I
                                added one to the salsa I made for this dish and it was a little hot, but
                                not too much. We like hot food, so it was perfect for us. You can make it
                                to your desired taste. If you purchase in the store, I would just look at
                                the jar – it usually will tell you if it is hot, mild, or whatever. Hope
                                this helps.
